Summer Camp 2026
Find your way to the Center for Theater Arts this summer and lift your voice, all while making friends and having fun!
All camps meet for two weeks, Monday through Thursday, at the Center for Theater Arts. Each camp has a final performance at Mellon Middle School on the evening of the final Thursday of their session.
Camps fill up quickly. If a camp you’re interested in is sold out, be sure to join the waitlist. Simply click on “waitlist” to the left of the class listing to join.
If your family’s plans change after registering, please let us know so we can accommodate as many students as possible. Review our refund policy here.
Summer Session 1
June 15-25, 2026

JUNIOR DIVISION (Ages 4-7)
Peter Pan Jr.
MONDAY-THURSDAY; 9:30 am – 11 am

Our Junior Division Summer Camps celebrate musical theater performance, collaborative storytelling, and the joy of creative expression! Students participate in daily dance and vocal warm-ups, explore creative drama, and rehearse for their show.
Featuring the iconic songs, “I’m Flying,” “I’ve Gotta Crow,” “I Won’t Grow Up” and “Never Never Land,” students will love exploring all things Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle, as we bring magic to the stage for family and friends!
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION (Ages 13-18)
Rock of Ages – Teen Edition
MONDAY-THURSDAY; 5 pm-7 pm

Rock of Ages: Teen Edition takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and rocking even bigger hair.
It all adds up to BIG FUN for the young artists in this camp!

JUNIOR DIVISION (Ages 4-7)
Disney’s Lion King Kids
MONDAY-THURSDAY; 9:30 am – 11 am

Our Junior Division Summer camps celebrate musical theater performance, collaborative storytelling, and the joys of creative expression! Students participate in daily dance and vocal warm-ups and creative drama explorations while rehearsing for their show.
The Lion King Kids features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will sing, act, and dance together to celebrate these beloved characters and songs, delivering the performance with creativity and pride.
STUDENT DIVISION (Ages 8-13)
Disney’s Newsies Jr.
MONDAY-THURSDAY; 2 pm-4 pm
$295
Inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City, Disney’s Newsies Jr. includes the now-classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” “King of New York,” and “Santa Fe”.
Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united – a perfect lesson for our student division ensemble!
Summer Session 3
July 27 – August 6, 2026

Final Performances - Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Mellon Middle School
Summer Stock is our most intensive summer program, where students collaborate to put on scenes and songs from a popular musical in just 7 short days! The surprise reveal show comes just weeks before camp begins, but we promise a rockin’ good time. Who could ask for anything more?
All classes will take place at The Center for Theater Arts. FINAL PERFORMANCES for each class will be at Mellon Elementary School Auditorium in Mt. Lebanon on the final Thursday, late afternoon or early evening of their two-week session. Final performance times will be announced closer to the start of camp.
