Voice Classes – Singing lessons for kids
Come to The Center and be yourself!
Explore your love of music as you follow a path to mastery in Voice in a program designed especially for developing young voices. Our small group classes use Broadway and Disney vocal selections to introduce students to vocal technique, music theory and solfeggio in a warm, nurturing environment that emphasizes the fun and joy of learning. As you prepare for our spring Vocal concert, you’ll gain the confidence and self-awareness to let your own beautiful Voice ring out.
VOICE (AGES 7 THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL)
In order to help with class placement and meet the demands of our students’ very busy schedules, Voice classes are offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings by age. Secure a spot by selecting the appropriate age group class session that best works with your family’s schedule. Once your student has secured a spot in our program, an assessment of student ability and experience will follow to ensure that they are in the best vocal session that we can offer them.

- Tuition for school-year classes is per semester.
- Classes run for 2 semesters over the school year.
- We recommend enrolling in both semesters. This will allow them to participate in the end-of-year showcase and ensure that they have a spot in Semester 2. Payment plans are available.

- Monday classes will meet Monday, November 23, 2026 (to make up for Monday, September 7)

SEMESTER BREAK: CTA CLOSED DECEMBER 20, 2026 – JANUARY 10, 2027
- Semester 2: Monday, January 11 – Saturday, May 1, 2027
- WINTER BREAK – NO CLASSES Monday, February 8 – Saturday, February 13, 2027 (for our High School Musical production week; All CTA students are given a FREE ticket to attend the show!)
- High School Musical Performances – Thursday, February 11 – Saturday, February 13, 2027
- SPRING BREAK – NO CLASSES Monday, March 22 – Saturday, March 27, 2027
- Showcase Week at Mellon Middle School for select classes – Tuesday, April 27 – Saturday, May 1, 2027
- All School Musical Performance Day – Saturday, June 5, 2027
CULMINATING EXPERIENCES
- Semester 1 culminates with Visitors’ Week for all classes – a chance for family and friends to attend class and gain insight into the process and see a small in-class performance.
- Semester 2 culminates with Showcase Weeks. Each class will have a performance for family and friends.
Voice, Performance Workshop, Special Actors’ programs, all Junior Division classes, and all Dance classes will perform their showcases at Mellon Middle School the week of April 26-May 1.
Acting and Musical Theater classes will have their performances at the CTA the week of April 19-24.
- Performance Workshop Semester 1 students are guaranteed a spot in Semester 2, unless they notify us. Students wishing to only enroll in Semester 2 for Performance Workshop are subject to availability and may be joining a class where rehearsal for the final performance has already begun.
Additional PRODUCTION PROGRAMS for CTA Students
- High School Musical and All School Musicals are one-time tuition payments for the entire program.
- To participate in the High School Musical, students must be enrolled in at least one class for Semester 1.
- To participate in the All School Musical, students must be enrolled in at least once class for Semester 2.
- Showstoppers – The CTA’s traveling performance troop! By audition only; students who participate must be enrolled in a voice and dance or musical theater class at the CTA.
