ALL SCHOOL MUSICAL
One of the CTA’s most beloved traditions, our All School Musical brings students from all of our programs together in a celebratory sharing of their artistry- a fully realized production on stage! Students in 3-8th grade tackle a Broadway hit together in only a few weeks.
Current CTA students in 1st and 2nd grade are eligible to participate in our Junior Chorus. The Junior Chorus rehearses and performs in select feature moments in the show; a fabulous age-appropriate introduction to a full production!

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s
Cinderella
“Impossible things are happ’ning every day!”
This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date, hilarious, and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane.
Originally presented on television in 1957, starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was twice remade for television, first in 1965 for Lesley Ann Warren and again in 1997, featuring Brandy and Whitney Houston. The original Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella opened in 2013 and starred Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana, Victoria Clark, and Harriet Harris.
This year’s All School Musical will have mandatory tech rehearsals May 26 – May 29 with two performances on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Mt. Lebanon High School.
No auditions are necessary, and all members are guaranteed participation.
ALL SCHOOL ensemble members are asked to call upon the skills, techniques, training, and behavioral expectations established and built upon in our school year programs. Consequently, ALL CTA students MUST be registered for and have regular attendance at a class in the second semester to participate in the ALL SCHOOL MUSICAL.
REGISTRATION for the All-School Musical will begin March 3, 2026. To be eligible to participate, students must be enrolled in at least one Semester 2 class in the ‘25-26 school year.

Musical Theater classes
Our Musical Theater program incorporates the three performance elements: Dance, acting and singing. All classes are team-taught and offer students an opportunity to learn while working on age appropriate songs, basic choreography, and acting. Higher-level classes within the same program, called Performance Workshops, challenge students with progressive levels of training and more complex material.
Performance classes
Our Performance classes help you develop rehearsal skills and process as you prepare for a year-end Showcase. You’ll learn discipline, personal accountability and rehearsal etiquette as you collaborate with others in a professional working environment. You’ll build confidence and skill … and have fun doing it! We are very excited to roll out our NEW 90 minute MT Performance Classes on Thursdays. For those students who just can’t get enough “CTA Stage Time” we invite you to look into Performance Workshop 1, 2, 3 or 4. Please call the CTA if you need help with class placement.
Productions
Whether it’s for family and friends or the greater community, nothing makes learning more fun than a live production in front of a live audience. We have many opportunities for you to shine.
All School Musical
Performed in the spring, the All School Musical is open to any Center student from third grade through eighth grade. No auditions are necessary and all members are guaranteed participation.
