A NOTE FROM BILLY HARTUNG

Sing it with me …..HaPpy Birthday …CTA!!!
AmaSING!!! – 45 years of high-quality performing arts instruction for children of all ages and abilities. We have been reaching for the stars for over 4 decades. Together we have set the stage for success. At the CTA – we all have a role to play and we have welcomed and encouraged over 15 thousand students to – come to Center and … be themselves!
Step through our doors on any given day and you’ll hear the joyful sounds of show tunes, laughter, friendship, and creativity. It’s the sounds of our mission in motion.
Did you know the Center for Theater Arts is one of the oldest nonprofit performing arts schools in Western Pennsylvania? As we proudly celebrate our 45th year, we remain deeply committed to our mission: providing affordable, high-quality arts education to students of all ages and abilities. Our award-winning professional curriculum will guide you through the disciplines of rehearsing, practice, process, and working with other artists to bring a production to life. We’ll help you gain confidence, self-image and a better understanding of who you are.
As we celebrate our 45th anniversary, I’d like to take a moment to reaffirm a core value that has guided CTA since the beginning: We have never turned away a student due to an inability to pay for classes.
Everyone at CTA remains deeply committed to this promise. We believe every student deserves access to high-quality arts education, regardless of financial circumstances. To ensure this important work continues for generations to come, we’ve made thoughtful decisions—both to protect our organization today and to invest in its future. As a nonprofit, we are proud to uphold our core values, creating an inclusive and inspiring space where everyone has the chance to shine—on stage and in life.
Because of you… we are here!
Billy Hartung, Ed.D.
