Celebrating the Hearts Behind the Spotlight: 2026 One Night Only Awards

Each March, One Night Only brings our community together for an unforgettable evening of performance, connection, and purpose. On Friday, March 6th, 2026, we gathered once again to celebrate the incredible talents of our students and alumni and to honor the individuals whose spirit, dedication, and love make everything we do possible.

Because of you… We are here!

During our 2026 One Night Only celebration, the Center for Theater Arts was proud to present several meaningful awards, each honoring individuals who embody the very heart of CTA.

Meghan Moorehead Award

In recognition of personal courage and a positive influence on the faculty, students, and staff at the Center for Theater Arts.

Presented to Elizabeth Schubert

Elizabeth, a senior and longtime CTA student, has grown both on and off the stage through her participation in classes, All-School productions, High School performances, and Summer Stock. Most recently seen as Polly in Crazy for You, Elizabeth brings not only talent, but heart, determination, and joy to everything she does.

Meredith Miller Bright Light Award

In recognition of unwavering kindness, boundless joy, radiant spirit, and a profound love for the performing arts. Your passion illuminates both on and off the stage, inspiring all who encounter you.

Presented to Lauren Bianco, Emily Brow, Emily DeFrancesca, Taylor Rovito & Amanda Sirianni

These remarkable women are the very first recipients of this special award. For over 25 years, they have been part of CTA’s Friday Night Special Actors program—bringing laughter, friendship, and light to our community week after week. Their recent performance at Carnegie Music Hall during One Night Only was a beautiful reflection of their enduring spirit and love for the arts.

Ronald R. Hoffman Award

For dedication, commitment, and unwavering support of the Center for Theater Arts. Year after year, you generously give your friendship, time, and talent.

Presented to Marci Heckler

For more than 20 years, Marci has been a cornerstone of the CTA community. From serving on committees to volunteering at countless events—and most recently leading as Chair of the Board—her impact is immeasurable. As Dr. Hartung shared, it’s hard to imagine CTA without Marci’s steady presence, generosity, and willingness to step in wherever needed.

With Gratitude, Always

These awards represent more than individual achievements. They reflect the spirit of a community built on inclusion, creativity, and love.

To our award recipients, performers, families, supporters, and friends: thank you for believing in our mission and helping our students shine.
