Celebrating our Special Actor Program

Wednesday, November 25 at 6 pm – recorded LIVE from our Black Box Theater. Rebroadcast link to come!

About this event

For the first time ever, The Center for Theater Arts will be broadcasting a virtual fundraising event hosted by Executive Director Billy Hartung.

For those who aren’t aware, Reach for the Stars, Prom Night is one of the biggest fundraising events of our year, with sponsorships and ticket sales typically generating in the neighborhood of $15,000. All of the money raised during this event has always gone directly back into the Center to support our Special Actors program and ensure that no student in this program ever has to pay for their participation.

While guidelines and restrictions due to COVID-19 prevent us from producing an in-person event, we will still raise the curtain (and hopefully funds) with a new LIVE VIRTUAL EVENT from The Center! If successful, this event will kick off a series of CTA virtual events designed to continue our 40th Anniversary Celebration.

This virtual broadcast features musical entertainment from the same band you’ve grown to love over the years, Billy the Kid and the Bandits, playing all of your favorites hits.

We’ll have operators on hand all night to take your requests and donations!

THANK YOU for letting voice be heard by supporting and believing in the Center for Theater Arts! Our amazing cast is looking forward to welcoming you to this one-of-a-kind, reimagined annual event.

Let’s Reach for a Star!!
